Arthur Nikisch Director de Orquesta excepcional

Arthur Nikisch fue un director de orquesta húngaro que trabajó sobre todo en Alemania. Es considerado como un intérprete extraordinario de la música de Bruckner, Chaikovski, Beethoven y Liszt. Dirigió la Filarmónica de Berlín entre 1895 y 1922.

The great Hungarian conductor Arthur Nikisch (1855-1922) leads the Berlin Philharmonic in Beethoven's fifth symphony. This was recorded in 1913 and is one of the the first complete recordings of any major symphony.
