Lavapies is a popular quarter in Madrid and, with Evocación, is the only piece which does not represent an Andalusian city or town. It's considered by many as the hardest piece in Iberia because of its complex rythm and the enormous quantity of alterations it has which difficult the reading of the score. The image shown on the first half of the video is the original manuscript of Lavapies stored in Barcelona in the Museo de la Musica.
